Ferris Bueller was my High School Hero. I would day dream in class of what I would do if I was sneaky enough to get out of school and go out on the town with my friends. I wanted to go to a game at Wrigley Field, go up to the top of the Sears Tower, or see the Art Institute of Chicago. Sadly, the reality was that I am not from Chicago, I'm from San Antonio and there would be nothing for me to do that would be equally as exciting as everything Ferris did. I didn't give up though. I would sneak out with my friends during lunch (which was not allowed) and go to the Wendy's or Sonic down the street. Now, being older, going through all of that effort for a greasy cheeseburger and fries seems so silly.
