WARNING: These are not cliché, kissing-in-the-rain or a baby's laughter, these things are weird, like me. So be prepared.
1) Seeing a very well made and detailed quilt.
I'm like a grandma in the way that I love knitting and sewing. Someday when I have the time I really want to learn how to quilt. Being able to make something so beautiful, useful, and at times personal is a valuable skill to have. Such a great gift to give!
2) Great weather when you're having a bad day.
It's hard to stay upset about whatever is bothering or making your day stressful when it's gorgeous outside.
3) Moving sidewalks at airports.
You move so much faster when walking on a moving sidewalk. It makes me feel like a have a super power!
4) Spongebob's face when he realized Squidward likes krabby patties.
5) Going on walks with friends.
I love being outside and this is a great way alternative of shlepping all the way to the gym. Catching up with friends is fun and walking at a fast pace and talking at the same time is almost as good as going running.
6) Unusual gadgets you see in magazines like Sky Mall.
When boarding a plane I always look forward to seeing all the new crazy and utterly useless gadgets in the Sky Mall catalog. I think my favorite section is the pages of lawn décor. On what planet is having a giant sculpture of big foot in your lawn okay?! Oh well, the magazine deffinently serves as a funny distraction on an airplane ride.
7) Funny animal pictures.
My roommate and I have made looking up goofy pictures of animals a hobby. We go beyond just looking at cutesy photos of puppies, and have discovered how hilarious some animals can be and even found some we didn't know existed.
