If people watching were a sport, I would make it to the Olympics.
I picked this hobby up from my dad. On a trip to the mall or a park, my dad always looks forward to sitting down a bench to let the people watching begin! I've become so intrigued by what other people wear, how they talk, and interact with each other. People watching reminds us how we are all so different. I think this is very important because we often get caught up in our own bubbles we live in and forget that it's perfectly normal to be different. Having this perspective gives you a more well-rounded look on everything.
Through the years I've compiled a mental list of PRIME people watching locations, here are a few:
1) Disney World-
Not only do tons of people go visit the park on a daily basis, they come from all over the globe!
2) Wal-Mart-
It's where America shops, enough said.
3) South Beach, FL-
Miami is such a big melting pot of cultures, so what better place to observe all of this than on the beach?
4) DFW Airport-
In any airport you get to see the different kinds of people who travel: the business men/women, the families, etc. What makes DFW even better is that it is HUGE and people from all parts of the world make stops here.
Places I hope to people watch someday:
1) A Nascar Event ( The Indy 500 sounds fun)
2) Mardi Gras
3)San Francisco
***Just so we are all clear, by people watching I mean observing people, where there is usually a moderate to large crowd, NOT creeping on or invading another person's privacy (that's just weird).
