Have you ever been on auto-pilot and misspell the same word over and over again eventhough logically you know how to spell it? Or passe by the same mannequin in the store over and over again, and get startled every time because for a second you think it is a real person? Similarly every time I walk into the Meadows building at SMU and pass by the big brown wooden doors on the right I see the words above it for the 'MUDGE ART BUILDING", but I
every time I see it I think it says "SMUDGE". I then do a double take on the letters and see that it's the "MUDGE" sign again. What if it did say SMUDGE? I think it would correlate with the atmosphere better, just look at the painting next to the doorway..

I know its "art", but to me, all I see are a bunch of smudges. Wouldn't my SMUDGE sign fit in just perfectly?
